Firstly, to answer everyone’s main question, yes, I do get a lot of Pokémon references with my name, and I love it.

I’m originally from Oregon but I’ve lived in six states (OR, NV, AZ, TX, PA, FL) in nearly 30 years. I have a BS degree in Anthropology/Archaeology, an MA in History, and have made the choice to continue my suffering by working on my history PhD. Am I doing it so my initials will spell Dr. M.A.D.? Abso-fucking-lutely.

I read far too many fanfics and not nearly enough novels, spend way too much time creating D&D characters I don’t use, and mastering the art of bull shitting through an ever-growing array of grad classes.

I’m a person of eclectic experiences and I’ve done everything from floral arranging to archaeology for NASA so just think of my knowledge base like an exotic aquarium, you might not find what you’re expecting but you’re bound to see something weird.

Misty about Ani:
"If there was ever someone who embodied the title 'Dark Queen of Chaos' it would be Ani, and I do mean that in the absolute best ways possible. With courage, creativity, and charisma in droves I'm certain she could conquer the world if she wanted. We are opposites in a lot of ways but this is a friendship that makes each other better. Long may our chaos reign."
According to my fae friend, from deep within Germany’s Black Forest, I am a bougie mess. Mess with class. I'm very well aware that my obsessions/passions are a form of escapism: like reading (romance/smut/fantasy/whatever box you want to shove me into), anything related to Disney and the parks, and cats. All the cats. The millennial tax bracket is a whole different level of broke/poor.
I'm first generation Armenian and it's been a struggle throughout life to find that balance between being Armenian (keeping up with traditions and expectations etc) and American. I rebelled about my ethnicity in my youth, embraced it in my adulthood, but every day is a struggle to find out what it means to be ME. And y’all are on that journey with me.
Deal with it.
Welcome to the Sorry Not Sorry Generation Podcast where we bring you a not so health dose of humor and reality as we get our hands dirty with some serious nostalgia and question everything!

This podcast is a rollercoaster of reviews, reality checks, and an abundance of fun Millennial style chaos. We review and rip apart pop-culture from our childhood in a hilarious adventure down memory lane. When we aren't drowning in the quicksand of our youth, we will take you on a rough but rugged journey through the challenging waters of being a millennial, just trying to make it out (mostly) unscathed in an increasingly chaotic world that’s out to get us.

So come join us as we traverse the ins and outs and upside downs of the sorry not sorry generation!

Our Story
Ani about Misty:
"The other half to this podcast duo is probably one of smartest, and also bravest, people I know. If I was introduced to someone like me I think I would quickly run in the other direction from the amount of weird just radiating off me. I'm still convinced I'm an anthropological experiment on her roster. And I love it"
